Nouvel An Bouddhiste : Une bataille d'eau à
l'échelle d'un pays. Très bon enfant, un peu fatigant
au bout de 4 jours de bataille incessante, mais c'est un vrai
plaisir et vous ne le ferez nul par ailleurs.
Si vous êtes au Myanmar, une occassion à ne pas manquer, attention cependant les transports en commun ou voiture sont difficiles et onéreux (tout le monde est à la fête). |

Quatre statues de Bouddha font le tour du lac
pendant 15 jours sur des barques spécialement aménagées,
dont la barque royale. Des courses de pirogues ont lieu pendant
le festival. C'est le festival le plus connu du lac Inle et une excellente raison pour venir à Inle à cette période.
