Trek around Inle lake - Mine thout area in the Shan mountain

Walking time : 5 hours of walk - small hills
Best time to come : October to january - correct in February - very dry and hot in March-April-May - slippering during the monson (but doable).

Departure by boat from your hotel after your breakfast at 8:00 am ( departure point is at Paradise hotel) to go to Ming Thout village. Then walk to Baw La Bat (Inn Thar ethnic group) village, it takes around 1h30. Baw La Bat village is located at top of a small mountain, there is a wonderful panorama from that hill to see the Inle lake. Next, you will walk 1 hour to reach Pone Tel village ( Pao ethnic group). On the way you can make excursion to native of Pao and Oranges garden. And then proceed to the Loi Khaw village about ( 30 min: ) walk. Loi Khaw village has three ethnic group : Pao, Inn Thar and Shan. Lunch at that village.
After lunch proceed to the Dala Bin village take, it takes 1h30. On the way you can see the cheroot leaf garden and sugar cane plants. After an other hour, you will reach the Mine Thout village. Your boat will you waiting at the village jetty to drive you back to your hotel. |
