We are starting again our tour group (small group) to Mogok.
Mogok is a mythic destination, beautiful but rather expensive (and a little difficult to go, now you need two special permits).
Mogok has been closed more than 10 years, most or all guides have no gems knowledge and experience of Mogok.
In order to offer you the same level of services and quality we offer to gem schools, labs, gems professionals,
we are now offering small tour with GEM-A graduated French and English guide.

This excursion to Mogok can be a "stand alone "program or included in a more complete journey (before or after Mogok), organized by yourself or Ananda.

( New Mogok road I was testing in December 2012. Weather is nice but really cold in winter and the valley is often in the myst)
One of the journey in Mogok of the French Gemological Association (AFG)
Day 1 : Departure in the morning from Mandalay by the old road along the Ayerwaddy River. We will stop at Matay village (white marble mine + rubis in secondary deposit). The place is very photogenic, very nice. We will continue to Mogok. Total driving time is around 6-7 hours. Depending of the arrival time, we may have time to visit Kyauk Phya tha. Night at the Kngbridge hotel 3****.
Day 2 : Morning visit of Mogok. We will start by the Lissu gem markeint, then mine visite (primary or secondary, visite of the Marble Arch area with primary mines. Afternoon in downtwon mogok, until 16h we will visit the big central gems market of Mogok. After the market, view point or mine visit. Night at the Kngbridge hotel 3****.
Day 3 : Kyapion and West Mogok visit all the day, visit of the amazing place of Baw Loon Gyi, gems market of Kyapin (morning and afternoon), Daw Nang Gyi pagoda. Night at the Kngbridge hotel 3****.
Day 4 : You will go to Mogok monastery to see the golden bouddha image , we still have time to make a visit of a morning market, then we will drive to Mandalay either by Pyin Oo Lwin road or old road (depending of security permit). Night at l Thirithisar 3*** hotel.
Day 5 : Jade Market in Mandalay early morning. Back to the hotel around 10 Am. End of Ananda travels services..
