Royal Kaythamudi hotel at Taungoo in Myanmar (Burma)

Deux kind :

- Deluxe room, big, nice bathroom (shower + bathtub separate), aircon, balcony facing sunrise on the lake. Very confortable.
- Suite located on a private part of the hotel, really big, with a ktichen, dining room, huge bathroom, all facing sunrise.

Restaurant : Myanmar, chinese, international (food is ok, breakfast is better in a local restaurant).

Comments : Big new hotel open in April 2008 built on a 10 hectares (22 acres) plot, ouest of the city, along a lake.
It is not a small hotel and it has clearly been built for people going to the new capital and who do not want to pay the hotel prices at Nay Pyi Taw.
The hotel is very confortable, service is very good (free internet), if you need place to sleep well, relax while travelling, or in the hot season if you want an hotel with electricity and air con, this a good hotel for you.
Prices are very reasonnable for the quality of the rooms and services, we are regularely using this hotel without any trouble. A good hotel to recommend.

Avoid the restaurant, food is average, breakfast if below average. For diner in Taungoo go the Hawai restaurant (cheap and good) or for the breakfast, take one of the tea shop along the lake (north part), you will have nice cheap and good local breakfast.
