Sport : walk in the parc or the forest
Rooms : big room or bungalowl, bath tub, hot water, very clean, very nice atmosphere
Restaurant : Terrace in front of the lake and the garden, Chinese and Myanmar
Localisation: The best in Maymyo, 5 minutes from the " National Kandawgyi " parc, in front of the lake of Maymyo, big private garden, a very relaxing place.
Entrance to the botanic parck is complimentary if you stay at the hotel.
Rooms in the old building are very charming, but big but confortable enough and charming.
New rooms in the modern bungalow are bigger and more quiet but less charming, we recommand to use the bungalow at the back of the garden (far from the generator)
Update January 2010
The hotel owner has changed and it is now the Air Bagan - Treasure - Aureum group.
No link with this, but we got some recent regular report that local management of the hotel is becoming "less concern", breakfast quality problem etc...
Even if the hotel is perfectly located and charming, it is also a quite expensive hotel... so we do not like this kind of news and put "on hold" our recommandation for this hotel.
