Mountain top hotel at the Golden rock pagoda - Kyaikhtiyo (Burma - Myanmar )

Rooms are all clean, with confortables bed, real hot water (very important in winter), some standard room do not have windows but most have. The rooms are very quiet, facing the East and sunrise. No noise from the outside, pagoda or festival.

Restaurant : Myanmar, Shan, Chinese, slow but correct.

Comments :
We have been using this hotel for years, and it is by far the best hotel at the top of the mountain (and the cheapest, slighlty, of the two). Rooms are clean,
very quiet, especially compare to the other hotel (Kyailhtyio hotel) and the hotel does not spoil the surrounding.
Some standard rooms do not have a window, but they still are clean and confortable.
The best option is to take the deluxe room.

As it is a good hotel to stay (with a limited number of room), we strongly recommend to book long time in advance, especially during festival period such as the light festival (very long time in advance for this festival).

At Octobre 2010, still our choice at the golden rock.
